Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) interim spokesperson, Fadzayi Mahere and her deputy, Gift ‘Ostallos’ Siziba have been accused of destroying that party with gossip.

A source who spoke to this publication said that Mahere and Siziba are Nelson Chamisa’s close lieutenants and they use their proximity to him to gossip about other members of that party.

According to the source, Chamisa is always fed with lies by Mahere and Siziba and most of his actions are influenced by the lies he would have been told by his lieutenants.

“CCC would soon be destroyed by gossip. The problem is that our leader, Chamisa always listens to gossip from Mahere and Siziba. He believes in whatever he is told by these two. Most of Chamisa’s actions and decisions are influenced by what he would have been told by Mahere and Siziba,” said the source.

The source added that Mahere and Siziba have been telling Chamisa that some CCC legislators were not loyal to him and that party; hence they should not be allowed to represent CCC in the forthcoming elections.

“Mahere and Siziba have been lying to Chamisa that some legislators were not loyal to the party. The two are presenting themselves as more loyal to Chamisa than anyone else. They boast that they have Chamisa’s attention and that they control the party even though they are not in the presidium,” added the source.

The same source said that Mahere and Siziba were too young to lead CCC’s information department and suggested that a more mature person should be appointed to lead that department. The source described Mahere and Siziba as excitable characters who were still embroiled in student politics.

Meanwhile, there is massive disgruntlement within CCC as members are disputing Chamisa’s directive of foregoing primary elections opting to hand pick candidates that would represent that party in the forthcoming plebiscite.
