Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) councillor for Chitungwiza Ward 25, Johannes Petros Mwandama was last weekend caught pants down with a married woman near Makoni Shopping Centre.
A source who spoke to this publication said that Mwandama was caught half dressed in his car, in Unit G Chitungwiza, with a married woman and tried to escape after he was cornered by the wife’s husband.
“There was drama last Saturday when Mwandama was caught pants down with his married lover in the car. Mwandama came to the woman’s house thinking that the husband was away. While he was still caressing the woman in the car, all hell broke loose when the woman’s husband returned accompanied by a mob. Mwandama escaped in a movie style, but not before he was bashed by the angry mob,” said the source.
The source added that before his escape, Mwandama tried to threaten the angry mob by stressing that he was an influential person who should be treated with respect. However, the crowd was baying for his blood forcing the CCC councillor to speed off in his car.
The same source added that Mwandama had become a sex predator in Chitungwiza as they are many cases of him bedding several women.
“Mwandama has become a sex predator in Chitungwiza. We always hear his stories of dating and bedding several women. It’s disheartening that we have a leader who can’t control his sexual appetite,” added the source.
It is also alleged that Mwandama was once accused of raping a minor. However, no one knows yet how the CCC councillor escaped jail time for the offence.
According to the source, Mwandama has been in hiding since last Saturday as he is afraid that people might still attack him because of his ill morals.
Meanwhile, Mwandama’s case came at a time when CCC Pumula Member of Parliament (MP), Sichelesile Mahlangu is at the centre of a love triangle that has left the people of that constituency awe-struck. Mahlangu is being accused of cheating on her husband with one George Mukahanana, who is almost ten years younger than her.
