Mashonaland West Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Mary Mliswa has reiterated the Government mantra that no one and no place should be left behind in accessing Government empowerment programs.
While addressing women who had gathered for the United Family International (UFI) Church Annual ladies camp meeting at Table Mountain in Chinhoyi over the weekend, Mliswa challenged the church to be part and parcel of Government empowerment programmes highlighting that no one should be left behind.
“As a leader, I need your prayers. As Government, you must continue praying for us. The Government is saying no one should be left behind so you must all come on board and take up a number of empowerment programmes. Right now we are launching the road runner chicken programme. We also have the goats pass-on programme. Come and be part of these programs,” said Mliswa.
UFI Prophetess Ruth Makandiwa who was leading the ladies meeting, pledged a commitment from the ladies fellowship to pray for the Government.
“Praying is our mandate. This is what we do every day, praying for the Government, our leaders and their efforts in turning around the economy to sail through. We shall never cease to continue for our leaders and the country,” she said.
More than 7 000 women from across the world attended the UFI ladies annual church meeting at Table Mountain.
