Kasukuwere is a coward: Citizens

While speaking to this publication, Mayita Gumbo of Glenview suburb in Harare expressed utter disappointment at the cowardice exhibited by Kasukuwere.

“It is disappointing that Kasukuwere is vying for the leadership position of this country, yet he is exhibiting such timidity at facing his challenges.  He now carries a title of Passenger 34, just because he booked a flight, checked in, but never departed from South Africa due to his spinelessness.

“A leader should be willing to lead from the front, leaders such as President Emmerson Mnangagwa were at one point labelled persona non grata yet they never shied away from the challenges but faced them head-on to a point of incarceration during the protracted war of liberation,” said Gumbo.

Another citizen identified as Lawrence Makhado rebuked Kasukuwere for exhibiting his lack of leadership skills, by trying to remote control his influence from a safe haven.

“A true leader does not operate through remote control, he does not send proxies to do his bidding for him while he hides in his comfort zone in South Africa, and instead he leads from the front.  How can he claim to give us better, when he has not experience of what we are currently experiencing, he knows nothing of the situation in Zimbabwe.

“I will work with President Mnangagwa who understands the economic bludgeoning that we have been exposed to due to the country’s detractors, because President Mnangagwa has seen and experienced it first-hand.

“The situation in Zimbabwe is not a game that we can take chances with, it concerns people’s lives and livelihoods and requires a person who is already in traction and not chancers. Saviour Kasukuwere does not have the stamina,” said Makhado.

Meanwhile, Kasukuwere held a press conference yesterday afternoon and confirmed that he bailed out from boarding a plane at Oliver Tambo International airport for Zimbabwe after getting wind that there was a possible arrest for past crimes waiting for him at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport.
