Embattled former leader of the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), Nelson Chamisa is running his breakaway faction mafia style and has started mobilizing members for strife, ahead of the upcoming Southern African Development Committee (SADC) meeting, to be held in August 2024.

Recently, while addressing a press conference, in godfather style, Chamisa called on his minions to take action ahead of the SADC meeting.

“I therefore urge you to take an active role in the peaceful determining of the destination of our country,” he said.

CCC National Organising Secretary, Amos Chibaya has also called for the immediate resuscitation of street committees responsible for the mobilisation of public demonstrations, the Harare Post has learnt.

This publication gathered information from a source stating that Chibaya has been calling for every CCC member to register their names in the Street Point Person (SPP) register.

Chibaya was inciting CCC members to demonstrate and attract the attention of the SADC members over the 2023 harmonized general elections.

Chibaya and Chamisa are making efforts to discredit the 2023 elections aided by Takudzwa Ngadziore who is relentlessly trying to resuscitate his waning political career.
