Exhibitors show interest in ZITF

Exhibitors from all walks of life have welcomed the announcement of dates for the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF).

A contact from ZITF revealed that the 62nd edition of ZITF announcement dates were welcomed by exhibitors who are waiting enthusiastically to showcase their products.

“The 62nd edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair which is set to be held from the 26th to the 30th of April 2022 has been welcomed by a multitude of exhibitors from all over the world. It is pleasing to note that some of the exhibitors who failed to participate last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic have managed to register to participate in this year`s exhibition

“To date, there are 332 registered participants, 101 are lessees, whilst 231 are general exhibitors,” said the contact.

The contact revealed that the theme for this year is, “Re-think, Re-imagine, Re-invent Value Chains for Economic Development.” He further revealed that there are about six countries that have confirmed their participation in the event. These countries are, South Africa, Japan, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia and Angola.

The guest of honor for this year will be the President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta.

The contact further revealed that a meeting will be held under the Connect Africa where discussions will be focused on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

ZITF is a perfect platform to attract investors. This event will go a long way in enhancing the ease of doing business in the country.
