MDC-T National Spokesperson, Linda Masarira, has blamed the current nationwide fire outbreaks on MDC-T youths who underwent military training at the hands of Serbian mercenaries in the run-up to this year’s harmonised elections

Masarira claims the MDC-T youths underwent the training in some unnamed neighboring country.

Writing on her twitter handle, Masarira said: “Could this be the work of some unruly elements which went for training by the Serbians in neighboring Southern African countries during the pre-election period?”

This could be the first time in recent years a senior opposition leader has opened the lid on the nefarious activities of the MDC-T militants.

Before her fall-out with the MDC-T faction, Masarira was one of the key figures of that youth wing coordinating activities of that party and civic society organizations.  

At one time Masarira dated former ZINASU leader Makomborero Haruzivishe one of Nelson Chamisa’s blue eyed boys.
