The IDBZ is inviting eligible national, regional and international consulting firms to undertake a feasibility study for the improvement and expansion of water supply and reticulation at Chiredzi Town Council.

The project comprises of water supply and sanitation projects.

According to an IDBZ press release, the project is “part of efforts to meet the National and UN Sustainable Development Goals for water and sewerage coverage for Chiredzi Town” aimed at meeting “both the present and future demands for water supply and sewerage services.”

The study will comprise “a full Feasibility Study for the water supply and wastewater system and a detailed ESIA including gender analytical frameworks and mainstreaming.”

Once completed, the project will go a long way in the elimination of water borne diseases.
