At least 10 people are confirmed dead in an accident involving a Johannesburg-bound Intercape coach some 20 km outside Polokwane.

Authorities in South Africa confirmed the accident, indicating at least 10 people had died. The injured were taken to health centres in Polokwane.

The coach left Harare yesterday at 1400 hours. South African Police Services are yet to ascertain the cause of the accident.
