“In addition, I do pledge to work well in harmony with all those in various leadership positions as well as those who participated in the just ended primary elections in order to achieve the five million votes target for our President. This can only be achieved, when all those who participated and those who rallied behind them rid themselves of the primary election mood and come together to work towards the same goal that is of developing Mazowe South and the nation at large.

“I would also want to thank Advocate Fortune Chasi for the pledge he made to support and work well with the incoming MP as well as those like-minded,” said Cde Mazungunye.

Meanwhile, ZANU PF disqualified violence mongers, drug lords, and all those with questionable characters from standing for the ruling party in the forthcoming elections as the Party maintains high ethical standards with rerun polls set to be held in some constituencies.
