Today President Emmerson Mnangagwa was in Zvishavane where he officially opened newly built blocks at Zvishavane District Hospital and Zvishavane Vocational Training Centre, the Harare Post can report.
The newly built blocks include a laboratory at Zvishavane District Hospital and a new girls hostel at Zvishavane Vocational Training Centre (VTC) which were all constructed by Mimosa Company.
Accompanying the President were some of the following top Government officials, Vice President Constatino Chiwenga who is also the Minister of Health and Child Care and Minister of Defence and War Veterans Affairs, Oppah Muchinguri Kashiri.
The VTC will provide youths with several trades like Cosmetology, Auto Mechanics, Tourism and Hospitality among others, said Zanu PF on its official twitter handle.
Mimosa is a Mining Company which mines the following commodities, Platinum, Palladium, Rhodium, Gold, Nickel, PGM and Copper. The mine is located 24 km from Zvishavane.
Mimosa Mining Company is jointly owned by Impala Platinum and Sibanye-Stillwater on a 50:50 shareholding, following the conclusion of a deal signed on 12 April 2016, which resulted in Sibanye-Stillwater acquiring all the shares formerly belonging to Aquarius (Pvt) Ltd.
