Job Sikhala hiding at US Embassy

 by Harare Post Correspondent

Bigmouth MDC-Alliance vice chairman, Job Sikhala is reportedly holed-up at the United States (US) Embassy in Harare, where he is being aided in scheming the execution of the violent 31st July demonstrations.

Sikhala is said to have been nominated by the US embassy to lead the planning and execution of the much-hyped demo following the arrest of the chief engineers of same, journalist Hopewell Chin’ono and Transform Zimbabwe leader, Jacob Ngarivhume.

Sikhala has sought refuge at the US Embassy for fear of being arrested in connection with incitement of the public to unconstitutionally overthrow Government.

The US Embassy’s Political Section is reportedly assisting Sikhala with the organization of the popcorn demonstrations, which they want to stage across the country on 31 July 2020. The source said Sikhala was expected to claim a fake abduction after they had finished the plot.

The US Embassy in Harare continues to meddle in Zimbabwe’s internal affairs. It allegedly availed over US$300 000 for the 31 July demonstrations. The Embassy has been making noise demanding the release of Chin’ono whose case is before the courts, after being arrested for inciting the public to participate in the unlawful gathering.

The embassy has also launched a disinformation operation, where it is popularising the narrative that Chin’ono was arrested for exposing corruption.
