HCC ends year failing to deliver services to residents

MDC run Harare City Council (HCC) has ended the year failing to deliver services to residents across the City. Residents continue to raise concerns on whether the HCC shall manage to be serious and provide the required services in face of rate payer’s money abuse by MDC Councillors.

Sande Jacqueline on Twitter tweeted, “MDC will never own up to its failures and have no clue how to rectify the situation. They don’t provide water, they don’t collect refuse but they collect rates.”

Lovejoy Mtongwiza tweeted “One thing that the City of Harare has failed to do over the years is providing clean and portable water for residents. This is Kuwadzana where folks have to queue for hours to access water at the Reformed Church in Zim. If it were not for this church, hameno.!!!”

ZimPamberi also tweeted, “The sad thing is I have not heard a solution based idea from the Council. They talk about boreholes as the solution. Buying cars from China, ipads and crazy trips yet they can't make genuine service delivery.”

As we now enter in to 2020, residents expect MDC run council to fully resort to service delivery and desist from lining up their pockets.
