Zanu PF Mashonaland West Provincial Chairman, Cde Ziyambi Ziyambi has urged the ruling party supporters to speak against corruption and report all cases of corruption to law enforcers.
Speaking during a Mashonaland West Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) yesterday, Cde Ziyambi said corruption was the root cause of challenges bedevilling most parastatals and the country at large, hence the need to unite and fight the monster.
Cde Ziyambi said effects of corruption to the country should be taught at all party gatherings including cell meetings.
The PCC resolved that restructuring of party cells in the province should be done within the next four months with party leaders being urged to mobilise as many members as possible ahead of the 2023 harmonised election.
The PCC set up a fundraising committee to mobilise resources towards funding of party activities. This follows reports that the ruling party had lost the Kadoma by-election to the opposition MDC due to lack of resources.
The fundraising committee which will be chaired by Ability Gandawa and will also include the following provincial members; Caroline Mugabe, Vangelis Haritatos, Prince Jowa, Shella Mabasa, Zakaria Ziyambi and Cornelius Muwoni.
Cde Zuyambi said the fundraising committee`s duties would commence immediately.
