Zimbabwe will be attending the Trade and Investment Conference that is going to be held in Kigali, Rwanda from, 24-26 March 2020, ZimTrade has said.
ZimTrade Zimbabwe’s national trade development and promotion organisation, today on its Twitter handle said the event was going to improve the relations of Zimbabwe and Rwanda through exploring opportunities that strengthen economic co-operation between the two countries.
“Zimbabwe and Rwanda relations are at an all-time high. The Trade and Investment Conference will be held from, 24-26 March 2020, in Kigali, Rwanda. It will explore opportunities that will strengthen economic co-operation between the two countries,” said ZimTrade.
In Rwanda, Zimbabwe is going to be part of the great exchange of expertise that will forge alliances and partnerships for business alliances in tourism, construction, education, manufacturing, poultry, fruit and vegetables, cotton industry, packaging, furniture and timber businesses.
Rwanda has since improved the means of doing business as it has reduced the time that is required to set up a company in Rwanda to six hours.
Zimbabwean companies have an opportunity to invest in Rwanda’s export development zones that focuses on manufacturing. Zimbabwean companies can easily register in Rwanda and start operating in one of Africa’s rising economy, the Harare Post has learnt.
