As the Northern Region Division One second half of the season is set to resume, clubs are actively engaging in the transfer market, seeking to strengthen their squads for a competitive finish.

Mt Darwin-based Agama Football Club has been quietly conducting business, already securing four new players to bolster their lineup.

In a strategic move to aim for a top-four finish this season, Agama has successfully snatched a player from Triangle United and another from Bikita Minerals.

The club's silent yet effective approach in the market has sent ripples through the league.

When contacted for comment on the new acquisitions, Agama Football Club coach Patson Muzawazi chose to remain tight-lipped.

"I am busy preparing for the resumption of the second half of the season. Our focus is on being as competitive as we can," Muzawazi stated, reflecting the club’s determination and focus on the challenges ahead.

Agama is not the only team enhancing its squad. Ngezi Platinum Under 19 has also made a significant addition by signing Blessed Mashonganyika from Norton Community Football Club.

This move highlights the club's intent to strengthen its ranks as the season progresses.

The second half of the Northern Region Division One season will resume on the weekend of August 3 and 4, 2024.

However, teams still have the opportunity to make further signings, as the mid-term transfer window remains open until July 31, 2024.

As the countdown to the resumption continues, fans can expect a thrilling and highly competitive second half of the season, with clubs eager to secure their desired positions on the log.

With the transfer window still open, more exciting signings are anticipated, promising an action-packed and unpredictable remainder of the season.
