Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Edmore Chirambadatre has signed a one year deal with newly promoted South African National First Division side Maccabi FC.
Chirambadare joined the Soweto giants in 2016 under former coach of the side Steve Khomphela on a three year deal alongside striker Michelle Katsvairo who has since joined Caps United in the Castle Premiership League in Zimbabwe.
With Katsvairo having left Chiefs in January after his loan spell with Singida United in Tanzania,Chirambadare had his contract terminated by the Glamour Boys at the end of last season
Chirambadare struggled for game time at Amakhosi where he was voted the clubs Most Improved Player in his debut season in the Absa Premiership League .He tried his luck at Maritzburg United but was not signed.
Maritzburg United decided against signing the former Chicken Inn midfielder following his trial at the Kwazulu Natal outfits last month.
The left winger failed to live up to expectations at Amakhosi. He hardly featured for Chiefs as Steve Khomphela preferred the experienced Siphiwe Tshabalala on the left-hand side. - soka25east
