The MDC-Alliance presidential candidate Nelson Chamisa on Friday 10 August 2018 filed Constitutional Challenge Case No CCZ 42/2018 disputing the presidential election results announced by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) which declared Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa duly elected president of Zimbabwe.

It is worrisome that the death toll due to typhoid outbreak in Gweru has risen to seven while fresh cases continue to emerge in the MDC led council. The same scenario is happening in Kadoma where residents have raised concern over reports that council has been supplying dirty water to some parts of the city for a week.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has said that Government is spearheading the programme of developing war Heritage Museums across the country.  Speaking today at the 38th Zimbabwe National Heroes Day Celebrations, President Mangagwa said it is high time those museums are built across the country in memory of the gallant sons and daughters who died for the liberation of the country.
