MDC Leader, Nelson Chamisa has admitted that the August 16 demonstrations were a failure and that if the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) had allowed the demonstrations to go ahead, they would have greatly exposed the party.

ZANU PF National Political Commissar, Victor Matemadanda took a swipe at the MDC Alliance frontman, Nelson Chamisa for being a perennial loser, puppet of the West and opportunist who has nothing to offer to the electorate apart from his trouble rousing antics of constantly calling for nationwide demonstrations.
