In a strategic move aimed at infusing fresh vitality into the Government machinery, Deputy Minister of Environment, Climate, and Wildlife, John Paradza, has emerged as a beacon of youthful vigor, The Harare post has learnt.

Speaking to this publication, political analysts have lauded President Emmerson Mnangagwa's decision to bring Paradza into the fold, as they predicted that Paradza's youthful exuberance will prove instrumental in steering Government affairs towards the realization of national goals.

Political analyst, Calven Chitsunge viewed the appointment of Paradza as an honorable and strategic move by President Mnangagwa.

"That was an honorable appointment made by President Mnangagwa. Paradza is an energetic youth filled with innovative ideas, knowledge, and vigor. In his constituency, Paradza has executed party policies by improving roads, constructing schools, contributing to clinics, and supporting farming projects.

“As a member of the National Youth League Executive, he brings enthusiasm and vitality to Government affairs. Utilizing his party experience, Paradza will also contribute to the implementation of climate, environment, and wildlife policies." said Chitsunge.

Additionally, political analyst, Terence Chipwanya weighed in on the new appointments in Government, saying the internal capability to govern effectively in Zimbabwe will be strengthened.

"Drawing on his experience in the Politburo, Paradza aims to serve the people diligently. President Mnangagwa prioritizes Vision 2030 and NDS1, as the nation's key objectives, with youths playing a crucial role in steering Zimbabwe toward becoming an upper middle-income economy by 2030.

“Enhancing efficiency and effectiveness, the appointment of youths to assist the President in Government duties is expected to yield positive results. Individuals like John Paradza exemplify and put into practice the President's vision, as evidenced by transformative developmental projects in Gutu West Constituency,” said Chipwanya.

Meanwhile, as part of its commitment to community transformation through service delivery, the Second Republic conducted a visit to the Morton Jaffray water treatment plant yesterday. The purpose was to assess the ongoing restoration efforts targeted at resolving water supply challenges in the capital, led by the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Water.
