Apostle Talent Chiwenga has taken a swipe at Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) leader, Nelson Chamisa, describing him as an insincere person not fit to be the leader of this country’s opposition or a member of the August House of Zimbabwe.
Apostle Chiwenga describes Chamisa as a convenient and highly suspicious politician who does not care for the welfare of his members, worse still of the people of Zimbabwe, but is always stage managing for likes and loves on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
“Such a person does not deserve to occupy the position he occupies today. He is a very cowardly man and his cowardice is not just a cause for concern, it is dangerous. The game he is playing and the repercussions of the manner in which he is playing at are too dire for us the church to ignore. We are worried. I can tell you today that if people of Zimbabwe were wise enough, they could actually see a better leader in Job Sikhala than in Nelson Chamisa.
Highlighting the double standards by Chamisa in the case of Sikhala and his current situation, Prophet Chiwenga said Chamisa was a dangerous and calculative man.
“Right now if Mr Chamisa had been arrested, their party could be doing everything they can to help him come out, but they have ignored Mr Job Sikhala who is languishing there and they are not doing enough.
“Trying to visit Mr Sikhala at Chikurubi Maximun Prison to me were crocodile tears from Mr Chamisa. There is so much they can do. Mr Sikhala has been arrested too many times and Mr Chamisa has never been arrested.That contrast is worrisome, he is carefully avoiding sensitive words to make sure that he remains safe, yet Sikhala fights for what he believes in to the drop of his blood. Mr Chamisa is a very calculative man, a very safe man,” said Chiwenga
Taking a direct swipe at Chamisa’s position as CCC leader, Chiwenga said he was childish and unfit to hold that position.
“For Zimbabweans to think that the person of Chamisa’s calibre has the power and what it takes to challenge ZANU PF, it’s a dream that I pray you wake up from sooner rather than later.
“There are a lot of mistakes and childishness in Chamisa’s method of politics and that is unacceptable. There is a lot of childishness around what they are doing, a lot of immaturity, a lot of kids play with their politics, and it’s taxing a lot,” said Prophet Chiwenga.
He further dismissed any hopes of the CCC party winning the 2023 Harmonise General Elections, saying they are very unrealistic and disorganised,
“A lot of people are talking about the 2023 elections, but if you look at how they are doing their things, a normal person should not have high hopes towards these guys. They are very disorganised and very unrealistic and not objective. The challenge they have and their methods of talking are not matching, press conferences, Tweets and Facebook and blogs and blogs cannot be seen as serious solutions to a problem.
“If you start to have hopes right now that these guys are going to deliver something next year 2023, I’m telling you, you are dreaming,” he said.”
Meanwhile, Prophet Chiwenga has advised that the CCC party should restructure its leadership and remove what he has referred to as little children and clowns, who have been given senior positions just to waste time appearing on camera quoting Aristotle and replace them with mature politicians that will address the people’s issues.
