Mviringi: UK Prime Minister Johnson’s demise on Zim relations

Journalist and leader of Citizen`s Forum, Hosia Mviringi has illuminated the several reasons which has led to the downfall of United Kingdom Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.

Tweeting on his handle today, Mviringi said that Johnson took advice on Zimbabwe and its leaders from the wrong people who were opposition political members particularly those from Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC).

“You took political advice from wrong people about Zimbabwe. Hopewell Chin`ono, Fadzai Mahere, the late Alex Magaisa, Nelson Chamisa, Pedzisai Ruhanya and Tendai Biti, who are not reliable advisors. You missed a chance to engage with President Emmerson Mnangagwa, despite his olive branch to engage and re-engage both friends and foes,” posted Mviringi.

Mviringi further said that Melanie Robinson also misinformed the office of Johnson and her Majesty the Queen of Wales.

“The Queen`s emissary in Zimbabwe, Melanie Robinson has not been sincere in her advice to her Majesty and your office. Zimbabwe will be better off without you Mr Johnson,” tweeted Mviringi.

Mviringi bemoaned Johnson’s failure to repatriate the skulls of the late Zimbabwe`s spirit mediums Mbuya Nehanda, Sekuru Chaminuka and the Zimbabwe Bird.

“Dear @BorisJohnson, you messed with the wrong people. You failed to repatriate Sacred Skulls of Mbuya Charwe, Sekuru Chaminuka, and the Zimbabwe Bird. We gave you enough time to do that and you were arrogant,” said Mviringi.

Johnson, who resigned yesterday and is now just a transitional head at number 10 Downing Street, will not be introducing new policies as his Conservative Party gave him a vote of no confidence.

Meanwhile, nearly 60 Conservative MPs have quit Government roles at both senior and junior levels, raising doubts about the Government`s ability to function.
