Gift and Pachawo Petro, who were in Uganda for five days to attend Sunday Vision’s Kampala Twins Festival recently, left the country last Wednesday night and arrived back home to a warm welcome.
Thanking their host hotel in Kampala, the twins said they were impressed with the way they were treated at Urban by CityBlue Hotel in Nakasero.
“Everyone was super attentive and concerned about our comfort. From the front- desk, to the restaurant to the room, we had such a memorable experience,” said Gift Pachawo.
Speaking about the partnership with Vision Group, Karanja Nzisa, the marketing manager of the hotel, said this was yet another opportunity to partner with Vision Group and serve their shared audience.
“Hosting the twins was our avenue to stand with the twins community in Uganda and Zimbabwe by extension and show them the famous CityBlue Hotel hospitality,” Nzisa said.
'So many ideas'
On the twins festival, the twins were all praises for Vision Group for organising such an outstanding event.
“I have never seen so many twins in my life. It was such a fun experience spending time with Ugandan twins and taking pictures. The music and entertainment also stood out for us,” Pachawo said.
"We have returned with so many ideas and intend to replicate the idea in Zimbabwe. We shall invite you when we organise our first twins festival in Harare [Zimbabwe capital]."
The Kampala Twins Festival was held at Namboole Stadium on August 26.
The fun-filled event was hosted by Sunday Vision with sponsorship from Parliament of Uganda and PostBank. – New Vision
