Zanu PF legislator and Central Committee member for Seke Constituency, Munyaradzi Tobias Kashambe, recently held a meeting in his constituency at the Marange homestead to address the pressing challenges affecting the area.

The engagement focused on health, sanitation, and infrastructure concerns, with an emphasis on finding immediate and sustainable solutions.

Speaking to residents during the meeting, Kashambe highlighted the importance of regular interaction with the community to ensure their needs are understood and adequately addressed.
"As your representative, it is crucial for me to stay connected to the realities you face daily. My priority is to find solutions to the problems faced by everyone in my constituency,” he said.

He raised concerns about the state of health and sanitation in the constituency, emphasising the need for urgent intervention.
“One of the biggest challenges we face here is ensuring that essential health services are delivered in a clean and safe environment. Without this, our efforts to improve healthcare will be in vain,” Kashambe said.

Kashambe pointed out specific areas requiring immediate attention, including the availability of proper sanitation systems, access to clean and reliable water sources, and the state of maternity homes.
He expressed concern over the potential health risks posed by inadequate facilities, particularly for expectant mothers.

“Every mother deserves to deliver her child in a safe and dignified setting, supervised by trained midwives. We need to work with the Ministry of Health and Child Care to ensure that our maternity homes meet the required standards,” he said.
Kashambe also committed to advocating for improved sanitation and water infrastructure in the constituency, describing these as fundamental to public health.
“Access to clean water and proper sanitation is not a luxury, it is a basic right. We cannot talk about development while our communities lack these essentials,” he added.

Kashambe reaffirmed his dedication to the development of Seke and the welfare of its residents, vowing to work tirelessly to ensure their needs are prioritised.
“Zanu Pf is a Party of the People, and we are committed to building communities that thrive. This engagement is not just about identifying problems but about building solutions together,” he said.

Kashambe urged residents to remain united and active in addressing challenges, promising continued engagement and support.
“Together, we can transform Seke into a model constituency. With your support and participation, we will overcome these challenges and build a brighter future for everyone,” he said.

Residents welcomed the MP’s proactive approach, expressing optimism that the meeting would result in tangible improvements.
Many commended Kashambe for taking time to directly engage with the community and listen to their concerns.
