National Assembly Member for Mt. Darwin South Constituency, Kudakwashe Mupamhanga has vowed to intensify development initiatives in the constituency in line with President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s vision for a prosperous Zimbabwe.

Addressing a jubilant crowd during his recent election victory celebrations at Gwetera Business Centre and Ponesai Vanhu Technical College, Mupamhanga expressed deep gratitude to the electorate for their overwhelming support.
“The people of Mt. Darwin have shown tremendous faith in Zanu PF and our President, His Excellency Emmerson Mnangagwa. We are committed to ensuring this faith is rewarded through tangible development that uplifts every community member,” Mupamhanga declared.

Mupamhanga took the opportunity to address community concerns, acknowledging the challenges faced in Mt. Darwin South Constituency, including dilapidated roads, lack of healthcare facilities, and poor network coverage.
“I am fully aware of the hurdles we face, and I promise you that together, we will overcome them,” he stated.

He announced plans to construct a clinic in Gwetera, improve road infrastructure through development levies, and collaborate with NetOne to enhance network connectivity.
Mupamhanga emphasized the importance of collective efforts in development.

“Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo, a nation is built by its own people. I urge you all to unite, propose community projects, and work together. Development is not a one-man show but a collective journey,” he said, reiterating his support for women’s savings and lending schemes as key to financial empowerment.

The celebrations highlighted Mupamhanga’s commitment to driving President Mnangagwa’s vision of a self-reliant, empowered Zimbabwe.
“We will not stop until every village sees progress. Together, we will make Mt. Darwin South Constituency an example of sustainable growth,” he vowed.

Mupamhanga’s gesture of gratitude went beyond words.

At each event, he donated food items, farming inputs, and essential goods, which included a cattle beast, vegetables, maize seed, and other essentials to support local initiatives.
His traditional gesture of kneeling to thank the crowd further solidified his bond with the people.

Local leaders were effusive in their praise for Mupamhanga’s return to the grassroots to engage directly with residents.
“Honourable Mupamhanga’s presence here shows that he is not just a leader in name, but one who listens and acts. We thank him and President Mnangagwa for initiatives like the Presidential Horticultural Garden, which is empowering women economically,” said Zanu PF Chindunduma Party District Chairman, John Gumbo.

Josiah Magama Party District Chairman and Ward 3 Councillor, Tonderai Makamba, echoed Gumbo’s sentiments.

“We appreciate Honourable Mupamhanga’s dedication. His continuous engagement with us shows that our voices are heard. Our youth, women, and war veterans have long awaited meaningful development, and now we are seeing real progress,” Makamba noted, applauding the solarized borehole and nutrition garden project at Bvuma Village.
