Former Citizens Coalition for Change, (CCC), legislator for Phelandaba-Tshabalala, Gift Ostalos Siziba, has reportedly resorted to voodoo warfare to secure a more senior position within the anticipated Democratic Alternative of Zimbabwe political project, also known as the "Blue Movement."
Authoritative sources told Harare Post that Siziba, who was now engaging in a practice known as "zvetsotso," seeks to use the voodoo to wade off challenge for the post of Vice President, a position also eyed by Fadzai Mahere who was prophesied by Bishop Kevin Nyamakanga to take up the post.
It is believed the matter came to light after former National Organizing Secretary of CCC, Amos Chibaya and former Binga North legislators, Prince Dubeko Sibanda, “skillfully” refused to ride in Siziba's car during their recent trip to Lupane in Matabeleland North Province.
While, Chibaya is still shell-shocked, Sibanda, has purportedly embarked on a journey to his rural home of Binga to seek the services of witch doctors, aiming to enhance his political prospects.
Political analysts have criticized Siziba's actions, condemning his purported engagement in spiritual practices.
One analyst, who preferred to remain anonymous, said, "Siziba's actions demonstrate a willingness to do anything to climb the political ladder, even if it means betraying the values and beliefs of our nation.”
