In an effort to align himself with President Emmerson Mnangagwa's vision of inclusive development, the Zanu PF's candidate for Zvimba East, Kudakwashe Mananzva is positively transforming the people’s lives in his constituency through various developmental initiatives.

In an exclusive interview with this publication yesterday, Mananzva shared details of ongoing projects aimed at enhancing the well-being of the community.

He proudly revealed the successful drilling of solar-powered boreholes in key areas of the constituency, such as Whitecliff South, Whitecliff North, Mt Hampden, and Beta Primary school.

“This initiative is an ongoing effort to ensure widespread access to clean water, thereby addressing health concerns like cholera,” he emphasized.

Mananzva collaborated with the Zvimba Rural District Council to acquire a grader using devolution funds. The grader is constructing vital roads, making previously inaccessible areas like Spitzskop road to be accessible, as well as ensuring major roads that connect people's homes to amenities are easily accessible.

Furthermore, Mananzva is actively involved in infrastructure development as well as in supporting education within his constituency. Moreover, he has been donating new curriculum textbooks and building materials to schools like Amalinda Primary School, Mbuya Bona, Herbert Chitepo, Kumboyedza, and Pota Primary School. The program is ongoing with the aim of leaving no child behind in accessing education.

Today Rainham Primary and Secondary School received donations of textbooks and sanitary pads.

Meanwhile, Mananzva is making plans to protect residents of Zvimba East from harassment and subsequent eviction from their stands by illegal and corrupt land barons. Recognizing challenges faced by some residents, he emphasized that he would take legal procedures to ensure that constituents acquire their land rightfully. This initiative becomes vital as Mashonaland West, including Zvimba East, grapples with illegal settlements on farms such as Penrose (143 ha), Lilfordia (660 ha), Haydon (744.57 ha), Rainham (1200 ha), and Spitzkop (477 ha) due to activities of land barons.
