Harare South residents will soon receive title deeds as the government moves forward towards fulfilling its promise to ensure housing for all by the year 2030.

Vice President, Rtd Gen. Dr Constantino Chiwenga, said this while addressing thousands of ZANU PF supporters at Mega Stoneridge Park Open Space in Harare South today.

He added that the Government was seized with the matter of ensuring that all those settled in Harare South and other surrounding areas received their title deeds so that they could be confident to make developments on their stands without fear of being removed.

He went further to tell the applauding crowd that they should remain where they are and wait for proper land plans for their residential stands.
Furthermore, the Vice President informed on Government’s plans to build schools in the area in order to shorten the distances that children have to travel to get to their respective schools.

He added that the government was in the process of building roads and drilling boreholes in most suburbs across Harare in order to provide residents with good roads and access to clean water.

The Vice President revealed that the government was making efforts to ensure that the country is food secure so that no one starves. He said that the government was working on modalities throughout the country to make food accessibility for everyone a priority.

The Pfumvudza/Ithwasa programme introduced by the Second Republic will help the fight against hunger; people should therefore not be afraid of starving.

He concluded by informing the crowd that the government would keep on providing food to the needy and agricultural inputs to farmers to ensure food security.
