The Second Republic has prioritized health care service in Bulawayo as evidenced by the completion of a new 20 bed clinic in Cowdry Park, Bulawayo.
This is in line with the Government's policy of leaving no citizens and place behind regards development.
After its completion, the clinic now possesses 20 beds, x-ray machines, oxygen, generator system, IT equipment. Prenatal, post natal wards and paediatric wards that are available at the state of the art hospital.
Thousands of citizens in Cowdry Park and other parts of Bulawayo will be provided with health facilities and services which they did not have in the past years. According to a source, before the construction of Cowdry Park clinic, residents used to visit Luveve clinic and other provincial hospitals to seek medical treatment which was costly to them.
The facility also possesses patient monitors and anaesthesia machines. Many of the equipment available at the clinic are of high standard which meets modern medical standards.
In climate proofing economy, the clinic also uses solar systems for power generation. Employment will also be created through recruitment of health workers.
Citizens online also praised the Second Republic for not leaving Bulawayo city behind in the provision of health care . A netizen @makamuretawanda said the Government should go ahead and do more good things in other cities.
