ZANU PF guns for landslide victory in next year’s elections

The ruling ZANU Party is expecting a landslide victory in the Harmonised General Elections pencilled for next year, 2023, and has already started to mobilising its supporters   to ensure a convincing victory.

Addressing delegates at the ZANU PF 7th National Youth Conference yesterday, President Mnangagwa boldly claimed that ZANU PF is the Party of the present and the Party of the future and implored Party members to start mobilising for the 2023 elections.

“We must begin now, to win the 2023 Harmonised Elections. It is all systems go in our Party's mobilisation drive. Tinoda kuvasvasvanga, polling station by polling station, ward by ward, constituency by constituency, province by province and finally at the national level, towards a thunderous victory for ZANU PF. Let us never leave anything to chance. We should not fall asleep or procrastinate. In everything we do, let us have a greater sense of urgency, across all Wings of the Party,” said President Mnangagwa.

The President added that the newly elected Youth League leadership has an immediate important task of mobilise the youths in every part of the country.

“Hence, the new Youth League leadership has the immediate responsibility to mobilise the youth in every village, ward, district and province to support our revolutionary Party, as well as to register to vote for our Party, ZANU PF,” added the President.

President Mnangagwa further said that in next year’s elections, the Party should convincingly defeat other political parties and urged party supporters to actively campaign for the Party.

Meanwhile, President Mnangagwa gave seed maize to every delegate who attended the Conference and urged the delegates to go back and preach the goodness of ZANU PF in their respective areas.
