Chamisa is a fabulist: Netizens

by Innocent Mujeri

Netizens and political analysts have described the MDC-Alliance leader, Nelson Chamisa as a fabulist for making up stories in a bid to portray himself as the chosen one by the gods.

This follows Chamisa’s utterances during the memorial services of his mother over the weekend where he said it was prophesied before he was born that he will be a politician of repute.

One Twitter user Patrick Makuvasi said Chamisa is slowly transforming himself into a folklore teller and described him as a cheap myth maker.

“Chamisa is a transforming himself into a comedian. He is degenerating into a cheap myth maker who makes up stories to revive his waning political fortunes. His weekend utterances are nothing but myths or legends that should not be taken seriously,” tweeted Makuvasi.

Twitter user Taurai Zizhou further said that Chamisa is trying to make his birth messianic and he want the people of Zimbabwe to believe that he was ordained by God to lead this nation.

“There is nothing messianic about Chamisa’s birth. He is only trying to hoodwink the people of Zimbabwe into believing that he was ordained by God to lead this nation. There is nothing special that Chamisa possesses as there are other people like Egypt Dzinemunhenzva,Brian Mteki,Blessing Kasiyamhuru and Linda Masarira who are into politics, but we never heard them say that they were prophesied that they should be into politics,” said Zizhou.

Another Twitter user Karen Gate said Chamisa thinly exposed his mother for being unfaithful to her husband as there are indications that Chamisa could be the son of the “prophet” not of the senior Chamisa.

“By insinuating that his mother went to the river with the prophet for prayers so that he could be conceived, Chamisa exposed his mother as an unfaithful woman as there are indications that Nelson might be the product of the shenanigans between his mother and the prophet,” said Gate.

Political analyst Tinashe Chabayanzara said Chamisa should not be given a microphone as that always exposes his lack of depth, as evidenced by his history of misfiring whenever he is given a platform.

“Chamisa was supposed to have a short speech because he was not at an MDC Alliance rally but a memorial service for his mother. He had no right to speak of how his mother faced challenges in conceiving him. He came short of accusing his father of being infertile. I urge the MDC Alliance leadership to prepare a speech for their leader so that he will not misfire while on the stage as has become the norm for him,” said Chabayanzara.

Chamisa has a history of misfiring whenever he stands before a large crowd. He once lied that the outgoing American President Donald Trump had promised him US$ 15 billion only to deny it when he was quizzed by BBC Hardtalk host Stephen Sackur.
