ZimLive.com founder, Mduduzi Mthuthu’s nephew, Tawanda Muchehiwa could be a terrorist, hinted Masotsha.
MDC-A Bulawayo Provincial Chairlady, Tendai Masotsha allegedly leaked a WhatsApp audio where she hinted that before his alleged abduction and subsequent torture, Muchehiwa masterminded terrorist attacks on vital Government installations surrounding Bulawayo during the foiled #ZimbabweansLivesMatter demonstrations.
In a two-minutes fifty four seconds long audio, Masotsha revealed intimate details of how she confronted MDC Deputy Secretary General, Jameson Timba and camp to stop harassing her or else she would reveal intimate details of how Muchehiwa with a team of twenty other unidentified terrorists had planned to attack Government buildings in Bulawayo.
“Ndokumbirawo unoudza Mduduzi kuti inini Tendai Masotsha ndati unless vachida kuti family yavo yese ipinde pa tight, if they push me to a corner l’m left with no choice but to reveal everything Tawanda wanted to do on that fateful day.
Tawanda told me kuti he has twenty vanhu vaanavo vakamirira kuti vapise ma Government buildings and Tawanda akatumirwa mari kubva ku America yekupisa those buildings,” said Masotsha.
(Please tell Mduduzi that I, Tendai Masotsha, unless they want their family to be in trouble, if they push me to a corner, l’m left with no choice but to reveal everything Tawanda wanted to do on that fateful day. Tawanda told me kuti he has twenty people waiting to set Government buildings on fire and that he received money from America to use in the attacks.
However, some sections of the opposition, such as Makomborero Haruzivishe, the Zimbabwe Students National Students Union (ZINASU) Secretary General, took to twitter to accuse Masotsha of having a hand in Muchehiwa’s alleged abduction.
“There is absolutely no way Masotsha can be found innocent of abetting @TeeMuchehiwa’s abduction. She is either guilty through acts of commission or acts of omission. Chances are high that she is guilty of both,” said Haruzivishe.
Contrary to sustained allegations of her involvement in the matter, the MDC A absolved Masotsha of any form of misconduct in the alleged abduction of Muchehiwa.
