Netizens have castigated fugitive Professor Jonathan Moyo for attacking Defence Minister Oppah Muchinguri Kashiri`s sentiments that former President Robert Mugabe seized her book on Tongogara`s death and that she was never involved in Tongo`s death as some people allege.
Professor Moyo on his twitter page posted, “Mugabe seized my book on Tongogara", Muchinguri 1. How can someone who can't write a sentence claim to have written a book? 2. If Oppah wants to come clean on Tongo's death, why not address persistent claims that she finished him off after the accident!
Responding to Prof Moyo`s tweet, Deputy Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting, Energy Mutodi tweeted, “Professor Moyo’s criticism of Defence Minister Oppah Muchinguri is not only cruel but unjustified. Just as we cannot take away professorship from him, no amount of mudslinging and malicious accusations can take away Oppah’s political astuteness and dedication to Zimbabwe.
Musonza Bee responded, “Oh my God! Never thought I could ever agree with Energy Mutodi. Prof Moyo savaging Oppah Muchinguri by her education level looked a shot below the belt for a Professor. Alan Johnson, a former Postman, but he has been Home Affairs, Education and Health Secretary in British government.”
Cyber trioll Cypsfoya tweeted, “I cannot recall Prof Moyo saying anything about Minister Kashiri’s dedication to the country. He only suggested she can’t construct one full sentence. What a shame.”
Admire Musingarambwi responded, “If there is an eyewitness with a different account let him come forward otherwise we believe Minister Muchinguri over the grapevine for now. There is no reason to doubt her account as it is, unless if its just a smear campaign, which you Prof Moyo is an expert at.”
