Zimbabwe is open for business is alive at ZITF: VP Mohadi

Vice President Kembo Mohadi yesterday toured various stands at the ongoing 60th edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) in Bulawayo.

The VP first port of call was at the ZANU PF exhibition hall where the ruling party is showcasing under the various departments that include the Women's League, Youth League, and Commissariat among other departments.

Accompanied by his wife and the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Minister Mangaliso Ndhlovu toured the Bulawayo Agricultural Society stand that showcased various cattle breeds and the Command Agriculture exhibition stand where he was given an appreciation of the achievements realised from the programme.

The Vice President then visited the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development and the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) stand where the key pillars of the Transition Stabilization Programme were explained.

Speaking to the media after touring the OPC stand, VP Mohadi said, "This year's trade fair is oversubscribed. It resonates well with President Mnangagwa's mantra that Zimbabwe is open for business."

The Vice President ended his tour by visiting the Belarus Pavillion where he met several Belarussian businessmen manning their country stand and also MAG petroleum stand, a United Arab Emirates company with interests in supplying Zimbabwe with affordable vehicle lubricants.
