People from all walks of life have come out guns blazing telling the United States of America Embassy in Harare to keep to its lane and stop meddling in the political affairs of Zimbabwe.  This follows a Tweet posted on the US Harare Embassy Twitter Handle blaming Government for the skirmishes that occurred on 1 August 2018.

All is not well in ZAPU with reports that the party’s interim president  Isaac Mabuka has unilaterally postponed the holding of the elective congress that was due end of August without informing other leaders.

…as public and private organisations seek to prevent the spread

Since Government made it mandatory for its employees to get vaccinated or lose part of their salary, private companies and organisations are slowly taking a cue by advising their employees to ensure that they get vaccinated in order to protect everyone at the workplace from the Covid19 pandemic or at least show proof of a Covid19 negative certificate obtained at own cost.

Government has resolved to take over payment of salaries and allowances for nurses and other health personnel from Chitungwiza Municipality and Harare City Council after the two MDC-Alliance-led councils failed to pay them, Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Monica Mutsvangwa has said.
