The Presidential and National Scholarships Department has invited applications for scholarships for the 2021 academic year, The Harare Post can report.
The National Scholarship Department in a press statement said, “The Presidential and National Scholarships Department invites applications for scholarships for the 2021 academic year.
“The Scholarships target able but disadvantaged students from the country’s 10 provinces, with intent on pursuing undergraduate and Master’s studies at foreign and local universities in any discipline,” said the Scholarships Department.
Preference will be given to applicants who satisfy the criteria as required by the National Scholarship Department.
“Undergraduate applicants should have a minimum of 8 points at ‘A’ Level in subjects that are relevant to the chosen degree programme, and must be 30 years of age or below by the 30th of November 2020.
“PhDs and Masters Applicants should have either First class or Upper Second Class degree classification in the relevant field of study. Masters applicants should be below 40 years of age, and PHD applicants should be below 45 years of age by the 30th of November 2020.
Interested candidates should present an application letter specifying the preferred undergraduate, Masters programme in the area of study of your own choice, Motivation letter, Copies of ‘A’ Level and ‘O’ Level Certificates, CV, which clearly shows your District of origin and reason for chosen programme.
