Zimbabwe attends World Government Summit

Zimbabwe through the Ministry of Environment, Tourism and Hospitality is attending the World Government Summit in Dubai from 10 to 12 February 2019. 

On its Twitter handle, Ministry of Environment, Tourism and Hospitality said Zimbabwe’s delegation to Dubai was being led by Minister of Environment, Tourism and Hospitality, Prisca Mupfumira, where a global dialogue on Governmental policies focusing on tourism is underway.

“Minister Mupfumira is in Dubai leading a Zimbabwean delegation at the World Government Summit. This event brings together leaders in government for a global dialogue about governmental process and policies with a focus on the issues of tourism, futurism, technology and innovation,” said the Ministry of Environment.

World Government Summit organization is a global platform that shapes the future of governments worldwide. Yearly the Summit sets an agenda for governments to harness innovation and technology to solve challenges faced by people.

“The World Government Summit is a global platform dedicated to shaping the future of governments worldwide. Each year, the Summit sets the agenda for the next generation of governments, focusing on how they can harness innovation and technology to solve universal challenges facing humanity.

“It is a neutral, non-profit organization at the intersection of government and innovation. It functions as a knowledge exchange platform for leaders in the public and private sectors to convene and collaborate with world-renowned experts to create a positive impact for citizens worldwide. The Annual Gathering of the World Government Summit, held in February in Dubai, hosts over 4000 participants and invites world leaders, international organizations’ representatives, thinkers, and experts from over 150 countries,” the organization has said.
