Minister of Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Priscah Mupfumira, is in Izmir,  Turkey  for the Tourism Travel Fair. There, she is embarking on a tourism promotion drive in the Turkish market.

Zimbabwe is on a re-engagement drive with other countries and it's participation in this fair is an opportune time for tourism and other different economic sector relations with the international community.

Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) employee Ruth Dandaro said the fair was a great moment for Zimbabwe and would definitely boost our tourism industry.

"Ever since the new dispensation's re-engagement drive, the tourism sector has already started growing. I am thrilled with this fair because it will market Zimbabwe and more tourists are sure to visit. The Minister will meet people from more than 50 countries and that is a plus for Zimbabwe. So I am glad Zimbabwe is part of the fair,” said Dandaro.

Zimbabwe is expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) whilst in Turkey. The aim being to rekindle relations especially on the promotion of tourism.
