ED`s engagement efforts the way to go
By Rudo Saungweme
Right on his November 2017 inauguration President Emmerson Mnangagwa spelt out his vision for a new Zimbabwe which is based on his desire to transform the country’s economy to a middle income one by 2030. This was not just a wish but a solid policy which is supported by strategies such as re-engaging with other countries. His engagements and re-engagements efforts should never go unappreciated. The results are already showing as international companies continue to trickle in the country to invest. One can tell that if this pace is maintained the journey to a middle income economy will be accomplished.
