Zimbabwe has survived decades of economic onslaught and negative publicity from the United States and its proxies. Illegal sanctions have been used as a weapon to chastise us for demanding economic emancipation through redistributing our stolen land from the white minority.
Using the illegal embargoes, the American business community and its proxies have always been negotiating in bad faith when it comes to Zimbabwean agreements. While still on the issue of bad faith negotiation, this brings us back to the case of BHP, which sabotaged the Zim’s critical mining economy and left the country in a huff with nothing short of ghost mines of ditches and gullies.
Like what the former President Robert Mugabe used to highlight time and again #America and #Britain were supposed to finance the land redistribution program on a willing buyer willing seller basis, and yet still they did not leave up to the promise.
In recent days, the Americans were at it again, this time on an offensive around #SADC trying to justify and sugar coat their tools for effecting the regime change agenda in #Zimbabwe – through #SANCTIONS. The move by the Ambassador of United States to #Botswana to lobby Dr Tax to put pressure on #Zimbabwe is a clear indicator that the regime change agenda is being accelerated.
The US is trying to seek backing from anyone in the #SADC region by hook or crook, but the will fail dismally as Southern African countries have already stated their position, sanctions on Zimbabwe must go. Rather the #SADC community to consolidate its systems and regionalise its trade and security systems to thwart all these manipulations by richer nations. The European Union was not integrated in a day, meaning that in the long run, #SADC should look into integration of its trading systems which is a move that creates a very huge singular economy which even the US and its allies will not be able to effectively hold at ransom as they are doing currently.
Regime change agenda is an issue which is far from over in #Zimbabwe, and to that effect, #Zimbabwe will fight tooth and nail to remain a sovereign nation. The neo-colonialists forget that the Zimbabwean people went to war for thirty years without a pre written budget and properly mechanised and structured military tools and won the war.
The Trump regime is busy placing everyone on sanctions, in pursuance to the US’s regime change agenda. US destroyed #Libya, brought chaos to #Egypt, as if it was not enough, they are at war with the Assad administration in #Syria. Adding insult to injury, the US is also seized with the same regime change agenda in #Venezuela. Not very long ago, Trump was on loggerheads with North Korea, and just after that they went straight after #Iran by assassinating Iran’s military icon General Qasem Soleimani.
Regime change agenda has become the cornerstone of the US foreign policy. To make matters worse, US seems to hate every country which is puppet-free. United States is better off considering other countries as partners than enemies, subjects or slaves.
