Aspiring Zanu-PF Member of Parliament for Goromonzi South, Washington Zhanda outlined his vision for the constituency with his main focus being the revamp of the education and health sector.
In an exclusive interview with this publication, Zhanda provided a comprehensive insight into his vision for the constituency, emphasizing key priorities and party-sponsored initiatives.
“I envision a comprehensive focus on service delivery, with a specific emphasis on the enhancement of schools and hospitals within our constituency,” Zhanda stated as he detailed his commitment to addressing critical aspects of community development.
In addition, Zhanda highlighted President Mnangagwa’s involvement in these developmental initiatives to the consituency.
“President Mnangagwa sponsored the drilling of 14 boreholes in Goromonzi South. These projects are currently at various stages of drilling and installation, a significant step towards ensuring sustainable access to clean water for the community,” he stated.
During the interview, Zhanda also announced some impending contributions which were pledged to the constituency during his rally held on the 29th of January.
“The party donated 2400-day-old chicks and mealie meal to the community, showcasing Zanu-PF’s commitment to meeting the practical needs of the constituents,” he explained.
As the conversation shifted towards the upcoming election, Zhanda said he was optimistic of winning the seat.
“The party has a lot of support in Goromonzi, and we will definitely win, Iam positive that Zanu-PF is going to bring the seat back home,” he declared, exuding optimism about the party’s prospects in the upcoming electoral battle.
As Washington Zhanda articulated his vision for Goromonzi South, the promise of enhanced education, improved healthcare, and vital infrastructure projects came to the forefront.
With a clear commitment to service delivery and a demonstrated track record through President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s sponsored initiatives, Zhanda positions himself as a candidate dedicated to the welfare and progress of the constituency.
