Cabinet has informed the nation that more developmental projects were set to be implemented in Binga District during the second 100 day-cycle.
Speaking during the Post Cabinet media briefing, acting Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Dr Jenfan Muswere, said seven projects were being implemented in Binga District in support of President Mnangagwa’s vision of developing previously marginalised areas.
“Cabinet wishes to highlight that as part of the leaving no-one and no place behind thrust, seven projects are being implemented in Binga District, in support of the marginalized areas development initiatives which were enunciated by His Excellency the President, Cde E.D. Mnangagwa,” said Minister Muswere.
Minister Muswere further highlighted that Government was committed to seeing the completion of these projects so as to improve the livelihoods for the people of Binga.
“The nation is informed that the report highlights completed and on-going projects that are being undertaken by Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies in order to create a better future and improved livelihoods for the people of Binga.
“In particular, the focus of the earmarked transformative projects is on the development of transport, health, education, infrastructure, empowerment initiatives, information communication technology, water and housing, among other sectors,” said Muswere.
Acting Minister Muswere further assured that the Government would continue walking the talk in delivering projects that would positively transform the lives of all the people across the nation.
The Minister added that going forward and in order to ensure that the public was kept abreast of developments, respective ministries would report mid-term progress and also produce a consolidated end-of-cycle report at the end of the second 100-day cycle period.
