CCC Bulawayo candidates are up in arms against each other following threats issued by losing candidates that they will approach ZANU PF linked Forever Associates Zimbabwe (FAZ) to unseat candidates who triumphed during that party’s caucuses held last week.

A CCC member, who spoke to this publication on condition of anonymity, revealed that Eric Gono, Descent Bajila, Memory Makasi, Mandla Nyathi and Kaikopulukilu, who have queries in the just ended CCC Bulawayo caucuses, were accused of threatening to work with FAZ to unseat winning CCC candidates.

“Mbuso Siso exposed them in our mobilization WhatsApp group, Mugwazo/Umgwazo! l have the chats. It’s quiet a disgrace that we have losers who take selling out as an option. Elections are a competition, we have losers and winners, but the ultimate goal is to defeat ZANU PF.

“These youngsters are faking support and allegiance to Chamisa. We no longer have true opposition members or activists who respect the ideology left by Tsvangirai. These young turks are seeking power and benefits. Truly there are no permanent friends in politics but permanent interests. Chamisa should just disqualify them, should there be re-runs,” charged the CCC member.

Responding to the allegations on the same WhatsApp platform, Eric Gono distanced himself from associating with FAZ. He chastened Siso for seeking to fan divisions within CCC.

“My brother, please don’t count me where people are discussed. Don’t put my name into disrepute, I love this party. Let’s rather discuss ideas and respect each other’s opinion and interests. I am ready to put my body to protect President Chamisa,” lamented Gono.

However, Siso insisted that Gono was a sell-out and charged that he should not pretend to love the party.

“Gono, Bajila, Memory, Kaikopulukilu STOP IT!!! and spare us your drama. We know you and your gang are criminals benefiting from FAZ. Stop making us fools. We have evidence of you working with FAZ and we will expose it!”, charged Siso.
