Incarcerated serial offender Job Sikhala has taken a swipe at the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) leadership for pushing their selfish agenda at his expense and that of his family.
In a statement that is making the rounds on social media, Sikhala expressed his disappointment at the crocodile tears exhibited by his leadership and fellow party members, as they take advantage of his incarceration to advance their political and financial affairs, while leaving him and his family to languish in prison and in poverty respectively.
“The University of Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison has revealed to me treacherous hypocrites, sellouts, colluders with my persecution, opportunists trying to capitalise on the predicament of the moment for cheap political and financial gain from my tormentors,” said Sikhala.
Sikhala exposed the simmering power struggles within the CCC, coming short of naming and shaming his Judas, he however expressed gratitude for his time in prison as it presented him with a clear picture of his enemies and true friends alike.
“Some wished me dead. I am sick. Please, pray must then pray for my death. Some plotted schemes to destroy me by spreading false intelligence given to them by their handlers and are dabbling in rumour mongering and get into deals to the extent of carrying poisoned food to deliver it with a friendly smile. I am aware of their shenanigans,” Sikhala wailed.
Meanwhile the factional wars, imposition of candidates and tribal fights continue to threaten the CCC’s very existence with Nelson Chamisa continuously pushing that party’s elective congress further away due to fear of being replaced by either Tendai Biti or Sikhala.
