Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Misheck Sibanda has sent a congratulatory message to the family of Vice President Constantino Chiwenga on the occasion of his wedding.

In his congratulatory message, Dr Sibanda said that he wished VP Chiwenga and his wife Colonel Miniyothabo Baloyi well.

“On behalf of His Excellency the President, Dr E.D Mnangagwa, the First Lady, Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa, Deputy Chief Secretaries, Permanent Secretaries, Chief Directors, Directors and the entire staff in the Office of the President and Cabinet, I heartily congratulate General (Retd) Dr CGDN Chiwenga and Colonel Miniyothabo Baloyi, on occasion of their recent marriage.

“In wishing Vice President Chiwenga and Amai Chiwenga a happy and fulfilling future as a couple, we are alive to their onerous responsibilities as servants of this, our beloved Nation, hoping they will create ample time for each other and for their family and relations,” said Dr Sibanda.

Dr Sibanda further said that as the Apex Office of Government, it remained wholly supportive and appreciative of the First and Second Families, both as leaders and guardians of Zimbabwe.

The newly married Baloyi is a serving member in the Zimbabwe National Army, (ZNA).
