Youths have been urged to make use of available resources to start income generating projects, the ZANU PF Goromonzi youth leadership has said.

ZANU PF’s National and Provincial Youth leadership said youths needed to utilize available resources to start income generating projects during the ZANU PF Goromonzi South youth meeting that was held at the Party’s office in Goromonzi.

ZANU PF Mashonaland East Secretary for Education, Cde Ndichatsiva Regius Pote proposed the use of available resources to generate income.

“There is need for youths to make use of available resources so as to start income generating projects. You are also welcome to make use of the land here at the party office. That way members will be able to make voluntary contributions to the party coffers,” he said.

ZANU PF National Secretary for Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment in the Youth League and Central Committee member, Tonderai Bosha reiterated the fact that youth projects should be encouraged, citing the example of a housing project being done in Melfort.

“The party is on the look-out for industrious members. Members should take advantage of ZANU PF party programmes to rebuild the Zimbabwean economy. The Pfumvudza programme being spearheaded by the Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Water and Rural Resettlement should be supported by party members. Training shall be organised for members to take part in the programme which is set to benefit communities,” he said.

Youths are heeding to the First Secretary and President His Excellency Cde E.D Mnangagwa’s call to put politics aside and work towards economic revival. The new dispensation is working on empowering the youths as they have been implored by President Mnangagwa to positively contribute to the country’s development through engaging into various income generating projects. More youths are expected to benefit agricultural land after Government ends its land audit, the Harare Post has learnt.
