The ZANU PF UK/EU and Ireland Party in a letter has shown undecided Party member Lloyd Msipa the exit door following his public announcement of an allegiance to the newly formed political party called the People’s Party, The Harare Post can reveal.

“Please be advised that in accordance to ZANU PF Constitution and Party rules, any member who willingly joins and/or support another political party has automatically expelled himself from the party and ceases forthwith to be a bona fide member,” reads the letter.

The UK/EU and Ireland ZANU PF Political Commissar, Lazarus Nyagumbo, added that it was Msipa’s constitutional right to join any political party of choice and should freely do so as it is his democratic right.

“The ZANU PF Party UK/EU and Ireland District respects your democratic choice, shifting allegiance and loyalty to the People’s Party as enshrined under sections 58(1)(2) and (67)(1)(2) of Zimbabwe Constitution 2013.

“As such your membership to ZANU PF UK/EU and Ireland has ceased immediately by operation of law,” said Nyagumbo.

There has been a mushrooming of new opposition political parties, a situation that has exposed the love for power amongst former Generation40 (G40) faction.  Saviour Kasukuwere is now at the helm of a recently formed Zimbabwe G40 party, Patrick Zhuwawo is doing his own thing and has been seen to be aligning himself with South African Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema and Walter Mzembi with his newly formed party People’s Party.
