Zimbabwe has joined the people of the United States of America (USA) to commemorate the attacks on 9/11 in an act of terrorism that must be condemned, the Harare Post can report.
On its Twitter handle ZANU PF PATRIOTS @zanupf-patriots, said, “Today marks the 19th anniversary of September 9/11 attacks when Al-Qaeda militants hijacked four planes to target New York’s Twin Towers, the Pentagon and a fourth plane which crashed in Pennsylvania. In all, the attacks resulted in 2,977 deaths.
“As the people of the USA commemorate the attacks on 9/11, we in Zimbabwe join them and make a steadfast reminder that all forms of terrorism must be condemned and we make an appeal to the US Government to remove sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe unconditionally,” ZANU PF PATRIOTS tweeted.
ZANU PF PATRIOTS also said sanctions are an act of economic terrorism and continue to hurt the people of Zimbabwe.
“The sanctions are an act of economic terrorism. The sanctions are hurting Zimbabweans. The sanctions must go unconditionally,” said ZANU PF PATRIOTS.
