Bimha commends Masvingo Province for unwavering unity of purpose

In a statement released yesterday at the Zanu PF headquarters, Dr. Bimha expressed his admiration for the province and its districts' collective efforts in supporting Cde John Paradza during the by-election held in Gutu West constituency.

"I would like to applaud Members of Parliament from all constituencies in Masvingo province, including Mwenezi, Zimuto, and Zaka, for coming together to support Comrade John Paradza in the by-election held last weekend in Gutu West constituency," stated Dr. Bimha.

Cde Bimha emphasized that this unity of purpose transcended individual victories, highlighting that it was a triumph for the Zanu PF Party as a whole and its leader, President Dr. Emmerson Mnangagwa.

The successful by-election, according to Dr. Bimha, demonstrated Zanu PF's continued popularity and reaffirmed its position as the party of choice.

"Since we are just emerging from the campaign period and elections, everyone was eagerly awaiting these elections. I would also like to extend my gratitude to other senior members who lent their support to Comrade Paradza," he added.

Dr. Bimha recalled the presence of dignitaries such as Honourable Vice President Kembo Mohadi and the First Lady, Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa, who actively participated in the campaign and rallies. He also expressed his appreciation for Politburo members who tirelessly campaigned for the Party, acknowledging the collective effort that led to victory.

Highlighting the Party's readiness for future challenges, Dr. Bimha noted that primary elections had already been conducted in Matabeleland North, Matabeleland South, and Bulawayo Province for the pending by-elections scheduled for early December.

He revealed that in Binga North, Bulawayo South, and Mabvuku Tafara, primary elections were not held as the Party had reached a consensus on their preferred candidates.

Meanwhile, Dr. Bimha informed the nation that Zanu PF was already gearing up for the 2028 Harmonized General Elections, building on the success of the August 2023 elections.

He emphasized that success breeds further success, and the Party was now setting its sights on the upcoming electoral challenges.
