Preparations for the 65th edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) are in full swing, with 17 countries already confirming their participation and over 95% of exhibition space booked ahead of the event scheduled for April 21 to April 26 in Bulawayo.
ZITF management held a press conference yesterday to update stakeholders on progress and highlight how this year’s Blue Sapphire Edition will celebrate the fair’s enduring legacy in shaping the country’s industrial landscape.
ZITF Board Chairperson, Busisa Moyo, underscored the importance of this year’s event in fostering industrial collaboration, strengthening economic ties, and promoting mechanisation across various sectors.
“ZITF 2025 is set to make significant strides in fostering collaboration among industries and countries, strengthening economic ties, and advancing mechanisation in the industrial sectors,” Moyo stated.
In a bid to further boost regional and international participation, the ZITF Company has embarked on strategic roadshows to market Zimbabwe’s investment opportunities.
“In the build-up to ZITF 2025, the team embarked on strategic regional roadshows to raise awareness, attract exhibitors, and foster business partnerships,” Moyo added.
Key destinations for these roadshows include South Africa, Zambia, and Botswana, reflecting Zimbabwe’s commitment to strengthening trade relations within the region.
Beyond exhibitions, ZITF 2025 promises an engaging lineup of events designed to provide networking, learning, and business growth opportunities for exhibitors and visitors alike.
“ZITF 2025 showcases a diverse range of events designed to provide valuable experiences for both exhibitors and visitors. This year’s schedule promises a packed agenda with opportunities for learning and networking,” Moyo said.
Running under the theme “Industrialisation: Crafting an Integrated Economic Landscape,” this year’s trade fair will focus on building a connected, technology-driven, and sustainable industrial ecosystem in Zimbabwe and beyond.
With a growing international presence, near-full capacity bookings, and an ambitious agenda, ZITF 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most impactful editions in the event’s history.
As Zimbabwe continues to position itself as a key player in regional trade and investment, the fair remains a vital hub for economic transformation and industrialisation.
